Friday, May 31, 2024 9:01AMThe NYPD is shifting its focus from providing security during the trial of former President Donald Trump to the Israel Day on Fifth Parade this Sunday.
That involves, security checks, the wanding of spectators, people will only be permitted on the east side of the route, the west side of the parade will be where police are positioned.According to the website, Jewish Telegraphic Agency, this year-you won't hear the music, bands, or experience a celebratory atmosphere.
Schools Chancellor David Banks says while he supports students standing up for what they believe, the walkouts are diluting the message.
