A security alert is ongoing in a Co Tyrone village which earlier today hosted a vigil and solidarity walk for a police officer shot by gunmen at a sports centre in front of his young son.
A PSNI spokeswoman said: "The Dervaghroy Road in Beragh has been closed while police examine a suspicious object. Members of the public should avoid the area." "It's been a very difficult time for the club; it's been a very difficult time for the community," he said.
