Secret military training camp in Mpumalanga operating illegally, security regulator finds
The Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority has found that the military-style camp in Mpumalanga, where 95 Libyan nationals were receiving training, was operating illegally.
PSIRA CEO Manabela Chauke said at a media briefing on Wednesday morning that the owners of Milites Dei Security Services in White River have been served with suspension letters this morning, following the discovery of the illegal military training camp outside the town of White River. Chauke said that PSIRA's investigations had led them to the discovery of a second training facility located 7.5km from the accredited training facility, and added that the training programme and its duration were found to be longer than the normal accredited security training.Who we choose to trust can have a profound impact on our lives.
