Cape Town – A second suspect has been arrested after the mass looting of a Shoprite liquor store in Langa.
In a 30-second video clip that went viral, residents were seen rushing in and out of the store, even with boxes of liquor. "Shortly after the incident, a 33-year-old woman from Gugulethu, believed to be linked to the crime incident, was arrested. "Both suspects are expected to appear in court soon on charges of burglary and theft. The latest arrest takes the number of suspects arrested in connection with the incident to two," said Potelwa.
