The bodies of two men were found at a flat in Edinburgh, with a second person now charged in connection with the deaths.
Police released a statement on Sunday morning, saying a 40-year-old man has been charged in connection with the incident in Greendykes Road in Edinburgh on Tuesday, November 1.A 65-year-old man was previously charged after the two men, aged 37 and 66, were found in the property in the Niddrie area of the Capital.
Officers had been called to the flat around 8.25pm. They were pronounced dead at the scene, with their deaths being treated as suspicious. Detective Chief Inspector Susan Balfour, of the Major Investigation Team, said: “Our thoughts are very much with the families and friends of both men at what is a very difficult time for them.
