Second man arrested in alleged abduction of Chinese student in Markham, Ont. GlobeToronto
The arrest comes a day after another suspect 37-year-old Abdullahi Adan of Toronto, turned himself in to police after a nationwide warrant was issued for his arrest.Police say Wanzhen Lu, 22, was taken against his will in the underground parking lot of his condominium around 6 p.m. on March 23.
They allege three men got out of a minivan, shocked him several times with a stun gun and forced him into the vehicle, which then sped off.Lu showed up outside a home more than 150 kilometres away in Gravenhurst, Ont., asking for help.
