Search teams still looking for more bodies after church collapse More details are emerging from the Pentecostal Church in Empangeni on the KwaZulu-Natal north coast where more bodies are suspected to be trapped under rubble.
Thirteen people were killed and at least 16 others critically injured with the church building collapsed on Thursday night following heavy rains that has been falling in the area.
Disaster management teams are working tirelessly to retrieve the bodies that are suspected to be trapped. The congregants were among the hundreds of church members who had gathered at the church for a Passover service.Minister of Labour Mildred Olifant who is also a member of the church is present at the church.
