Terri Walters had previously been convicted of child cruelty after her son died
A warrant remains outstanding for blackmailer Terri Walters who disappeared from the court building before she was sentenced. The order was made for the arrest of Walters not backed for bail.
She was handed a community order for two years and a nine-month drug treatment and testing order and 40 rehabilitation activity days. She has now pleaded guilty to an allegation of blackmail on November 20, 2021, and was due to be sentenced at Nottingham Crown Court on Thursday, August 17.After attending court in the morning and seeing her barrister, she is understood to have left the building by the time her case was called on late morning, and the warrant was issued.
Steven Gosnell, who represented Walters last week, said she attended in a sleeveless dress and there were "sores all over her" and "it was quite a harrowing sight".
