After a few hours, the zebras' owner, law enforcement, and some locals corralled the zebras. But one adult stallion jumped the fence of a horse stable and ran into the woods where the hiking and biking trails are at Boxley Creek, the report states.Animal control said the zebra could likely survive off the grass and water but is likely scared to be in new terrain.

Satterfield said the stallion could stay in the Boxley Creek area where there is access to food and water, and it may also be attracted to horses in the region. I'm just trying to find a place where I can bring my horse trailer and access Boxley Creek to see if I can't ride my horse out in the area to find any signs of the zebra," Deanna explained. "I live in the valley, and I met the yesterday, and I know it's important for her.
