The search for a four-year-old child who went missing during a massive fire at an informal settlement in Durban will continue on Monday.Over 500 homes were destroyed after a fire broke out at the Kennedy Road Informal Settlement in Clare Estate on Sunday morning.Firefighters from the eThekwini fire department managed to put out the blaze.
Meanwhile, the Gift of the Givers was on the ground to help provide relief to the affected residents.Bilaal Jeewa from the NGO says the team is assessing the needs together with the disaster management and Department of Human Settlement.
