Everton manager Sean Dyche and club captain Seamus Coleman have paid tribute to Bill Kenwright by laying a wreath outside Goodison Park.fan, Kenwright joined the club's board in 1989. After being involved in an initial, failed attempt as part of a consortium to buy the club, he headed another and bought a 68% majority share of the club in 1999.
When confirmation of Kenwright’s sad passing reached Finch Farm on Tuesday, Everton boss Dyche halted training and sent the players home, such was the magnitude of the news for those at the training ground.statue on Wednesday morning. A message was included in the wreath, and it read: “In loving memory of our chairman, our leader, our friend and inspiration. With love and thanks, from everyone at Everton Football Club.
