More than 50 events are lined up for the Stockport Town of Culture Weekender taking place later this month
A carnival of animals parade, live music and comedy, plus a sculpture trail will take over Stockport in a few weeks time as the town hosts a free weekend of events.
READ MORE: A much-loved festival dedicated to chocolate and cheese is returning to Greater Manchester Councillor Mark Hunter, Leader of Stockport Council, said: "It will be wonderful to celebrate the end of our town of culture year with such a big extravaganza in the town centre, with so much to keep the whole family entertained. We hope this event will showcase just what we have achieved this year.
