Former Springbok Jaco Kriel went from looking ‘scruffy’ to suave in this TV makeover. Take a look at the before and after….In last week’s episode, former Springbok Jaco Kriel became one of the first men to be given a makeover on Glam Guru.
“As a rugby player, you practise, run onto the field, and stay as you are. You are seen on the field, dirty and sweaty. No one cares about how you look.During the episode, 37-year-old Jaco Kriel claimed that his wardrobe was filled with gym clothes and barely anything else for any other occasion.According to Jaco Kriel, he finally hung up his rugby boots last year after repeat injurie.s took a toll on his health.
Jaco revealed that his tough circumstances, including losing both his mother and brother to suicide, his sister in a fatal car crash and his father to motor neuron disease, inspired him to speak out about mental health and overcoming challenges. It read: “Our mission is to inspire the next generation to overcome adversities and make positive life choices”.
