Kevin Scott pocketed the proceeds without consent from his ex partner Fiona Young.
A frauster who secretly sold a £56,000 house he bought with his girlfriend after they landed a lottery jackpot has been ordered to pay her £1,500.
Funds of £40,000 were traced to an account belonging to Scott's mother while £5,000 had been given to a friend. Sheriff Ray Small spared Scott jail and ordered him to pay Young £1,500 compensation. He also placed under supervision for three years and handed him 150 hours of unpaid work as a direct alternative to prison.
