Award-winning novelist Scott Blackwood taught creative writing at Roosevelt and Northwestern universities and was nominated for a Grammy Award for writing the history of a record label in a box set of music.
Blackwood’s short story collection, “In the Shadow of Our House,” was published in 2001, and his first novel, “We Agreed to Meet Just Here,” was published in 2009. It told multiple fictional stories about individuals who disappear and won the 2011 Whiting Writers’ Award in Fiction.
