A teenager has been charged after he led police on a chase after allegedly being caught "driving dangerously".
Officers were carrying out a speed check in the Pollokshaws area in the south side of Glasgow when the 19-year-old man failed to stop on Tuesday. A pursuit was carried out before the teen "gave himself up" and was taken into custody for the night. Officers say the teenager was "disqualified from driving, had no insurance, and failed to stop" when asked.Top news stories today Police Scotland wrote on X: "Glasgow Road Police were carrying out a speed check on the south side earlier when this driver failed to stop, he was pursued around the south side before giving himself up and ending up in a RoomWithNoView for the night.
