Mercy crews sped to the scene but the biker, from Methil, was tragically pronounced dead
The mother of a young biker who died in a crash in Fife has said her "heart has been torn into pieces". Biker Jamie Murdoch, 29, died after his motorcycle collided with a car on the Q67, near Kingsettle, at around 4.35pm on Monday.
Sharon wrote: "My heart has been ripped out my chest and torn into pieces. I never thought I would ever feel pain like this. My youngest son Jamie was in a serious accident on his way home from work last night he died at the scene." She added: "I love you more than words can say, I will never get over this."
Rabby Redpath said: "Jamie's always been a good mate, he was just at mine last week too speaking about his bike. RIP Jamie Murdoch bro."
