Scots lad tells of 'terrifying' moment car burst into flames on drive to work

By the time he managed to pull in, the 26-year-old could see flames erupting from the dashboard

A Scots man has told of the "terrifying" moment his car caught fire as he drove to work on Thursday afternoon.

A video taken by Liam shows large flames ripping through the motor, with thick black smoke billowing into the air. Pictures of the aftermath also show the burnt out shell of the car, that was completely gutted in the blaze. The entire bonnet had also melted away. He added: "There were still a lot of belongings in the car.
