A Scottish game developer has announced a new video game that features "actual Scottish voice acting".
The studio's first video game, AETHUS, was recently revealed and is set to be released in 2025. Described as a "physics-driven survival-craft/base-building" experience, the game features a "dystopian sci-fi" setting. Speaking to the Daily Record, he commented: "Setting out to make the game, I knew I wanted to use authentic Scottish voice actors to portray the main characters as well as an original soundtrack inspired by traditional Scottish music and instruments, with a sci-fi twist.
Kane unveiled a playable demo of the video game earlier this week. The demo, which is available to download now, allows players to experience the first two hours of AETHUS.
