While temperatures can be high on land, Piotr has warned that Scottish waters remain perilously cold all year round - presenting a serious threat to even the strongest of swimmers. "Not all accidents are preventable, but many can be prevented through having the right equipment and through accessing some of the brilliant training resources which are available online and through local clubs."
