A woman has told of her horror after her beloved dog was attacked by two Bull Terriers while out walking in Glasgow
.
"We turned onto Dumbarton Road and I'd seen these two dogs before with their owner. As we walked past them the dog lunged and went for Flora's ear. It had her ear in its big jaws. I then went down on the ground to try prise the dogs mouth open and Flora was yelping away. She added: "Eventually I got her free and took her along to the vet on Hyndland Street. I can't understand why if you have dogs like that you wouldn't muzzle them to keep everyone safer.
Top news stories today Fortunately, the one-year-old dog has recovered from the incident but Susan says it has left her more wary when walking Flora.
