A brave Scots dad is set to front a BBC charity appeal after losing his wife to a deadly brain tumour just one year after she gave birth to their daughter.
Husband Alan told how the family’s world fell apart when the mum-of-one was soon diagnosed with an aggressive glioblastoma and passed away just six months later. He added: “It has been a tough road for me - going from a close-knit family to being single with a 13-month-old. Medical technician Alan recalled: “It hit us all like a tonne of bricks.
