Glasgow City Council traffic wardens will not ticket or arrange to tow cars in the hours before between Scotland and England at Hampden as part of industrial action by local authority workers
Thousands are expected to flock to Hampden tomorrow for the sold-out Scotland versus England friendly, however, the streets could be gridlocked due to strike action.
GMB Scotland, representing the strikers, said cops should make clear alternative plans for keeping all priority “red routes” around the stadium open. “Parking services staff have huge experience in doing that and it is worrying that there has been no indication of what plans, if any, are in place to ensure the roads around the stadium remain and fans are safe.”
