Friday's opponents Slovakia proved stubborn opposition at Hampden in April, with Sophie Howard heading in the only goal. However, Evans believes the squad has "come on leaps and bounds" under head coach Pedro Martinez Losa.Scotland made their tournament debut at Euro 2017 but missed out last time and have not been at a major finals since the 2019 World Cup.
Evans, who played at both of those competitions, revealed she was cheering on the men's team at one Euro 2024 match. "It was unbelievable being part of the Tartan Army and seeing things from that perspective, just so enjoyable," she said of her experience in Germany.
