Emma Caldwell's family lawyer says cops found to have 'engaged in criminality' should be facing jail after the 'the worst scandal in Scottish legal history.' Iain Packer, 51, was found guilty of murdering Emma in 2005, as well as 11 rapes and 21 other charges, including sexual assaults, against other women - and was sentenced to at least 36 years this month.
He continued to attack women after Emma's murder despite being hauled in for questioning by cops on six occasions. Police instead wrongly focused on four Turkish men who were later cleared before an investigation into Packer was finally launched in 2015. Aamer Anwar appeared on Good Morning Britain alongside Emma's mum and said the recently announced public inquiry is not enough and called for officers to face a criminal probe.
