Scot extradited from Canary Islands due in court over drugs and organised crime charges
A Scot who was extradited from the Canary Islands to face drug and serious organised crime charges is due to appear in court.
Paul Martin, 42, was arrested by Spanish officials last month following a pro-active operation by officers from Police Scotland’s Fugitive Active Search Team.It follows a major international crime investigation led by Police Scotland, the National Crime Agency and the Spanish police Detective Chief Superintendent Paul Livingstone said: “We are grateful for the co-operation of our national and international law enforcement partners including the National Crime Agency and Spanish National Police.
