He was a church leader, and much more. Andrew Gallimore's own faith touched and enriched the lives of many. And late in life he found a new "flock" the Parkrun community of Worsley.
"He has left a huge hole in our hearts. His faith cannot be understated. I believe he would not want others to mourn his loss, rather to be inspired. He fought the good fight, he ran the race, he kept the faith. Andrew was born on March 3 1964, the first born son of Terry and Marion Gallimore and had two brothers . At age 13, his mother died from aplastic anaemia. Terry remarried Joan the family was joined by a step brother and sister. Terry and Joan had one more child.
Christopher said: "Dad would utilise tools to make the bible come to life, including music, props, and his incredible story-telling ability to teach children and young people about Jesus and the bible. He did this because the words he read as a teenager changed his life and he wanted others to have the opportunity he’d had.
