Footage has revealed the moment a schoolgirl was caught on CCTV allegedly stealing an iPhone from a shop in Clarkston.In the footage, the youngster - believed to be aged around 12 or 13 - can be seen entering the shop and having a look around.
By the time Shahzad had risen, the phone was smuggled into her pocket with the shopkeeper oblivious to the robbery. She then took a picture of the keyboard with her own phone, before leaving the shop."When I bent down, she took the phone in seconds. After about an hour I noticed a phone was missing. I knew I hadn't sold a phone that day, so I looked over the CCTV.
Shahzad said a woman who appeared to be the girl's mother was standing outside with a pram. He believes the whole thing was carefully planned and he's warning other small businesses to be aware of the pair.
