A school celebrated its 60th birthday by inviting past and current pupils and teachers to a celebratory event.
Headteacher, Mrs Laura Wolstenholme, gave a speech at the event. She said: “We are so proud of our dedicated staff and our supportive parish county and our wonderful pupils and families.“Without their hard work, commitment and belief in our school mission, we would not be where we are today. The school had a birthday lunch for the children and celebrated a liturgy with pupils, staff and special visitors including governors and previous head teachers Stephen Wells and Lesley Pemberton, and Headteacher of Mount Carmel High School Mr Bowers.
