How terrifying for the poor students!
Students reportedly had to hide under their tables this afternoon as a school was locked down and searched by police.
In an email to parents today Rickmansworth School confirmed it had to be locked down for 10 minutes at around 1.20pm. According to the headteacher, Hertfordshire Constabulary were responding to a call unrelated to the school, in Scots Hill, and were searching nearby buildings including an area of the site.
