Because of Scarlet Witch’s apparent death in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the MCU has been robbed of an essential mutant storyline. Played by Elizabeth Olsen, the classic Marvel Comics Avenger seemingly met her end in Doctor Strange 2’s ending. But at the time of the film, it was hard to imagine that the MCU had actually closed the door on Wanda’s story.

Will Scarlet Witch Return To The MCU? If nothing else, the appeal of a “House M” storyline occurring in the MCU should keep Scarlet Witch in consideration for more roles in Marvel’s upcoming movies and shows. As noted above, Marvel supposedly doesn’t have any Scarlet Witch appearances on its slate, but the possibility of her coming back remains. No body was shown, making it easy for Marvel to explain her return if it ever wants to use her again.
