Women’s team won American Collegiate Hockey Association national championships after undefeated season
Twelve members of the Sault College Cougars women’s hockey team made a brief appearance at the college’s monthly board of governors meeting on Thursday after winning the American Collegiate Hockey Association Division 2 national championships.
Over the course of the championships, the Cougars defeated Rowan University, University of Delaware and Providence College before beating Dakota College in the semi-final game. “Congratulations to all of you,” said Don Mitchell, Sault College board of governors first vice-chair to the team.
