Cy-Fair quarterback Trey Owens had two touchdown passes. Zaccheas Baynes caught one of those and also reached the end zone on a run, both in the first half. Quarterback Colin Willetts connected on four touchdown passes to lead the Warriors . Three of those went to Andrew Marsh and another went to Nathan Salz. Zechariah Sample had a big game, rushing for two touchdowns and picking off two passes on defense, one of which he returned for a score.
The Chargers defeated Strake Jesuit 74-41, scoring the most points in a single game in program history since they first joined a UIL district back in 2018. Chargers quarterback Parker Williams accounted for five total touchdowns, including four through the air. Two of those went to Gavin Waits, and the others went to Jax Medica and Davion Godley. Godley also scored a rushing touchdown. Patrick Broadway accounted for two rushing touchdowns in the second half.Fulshear will travel to Fort Bend Christian next week before jumping into District 10-5A Division I action against Magnolia.
