In September last year, Postbank announced that the new black Mzansi Debit Card will replace the Sassa gold card, previously issued to social grant beneficiaries. The agency, however, assured beneficiaries using Sassa gold cards that their grants will still be paid into their accounts despite previous statements indicating an expiration date of 31 December 2024.
