The Bridge City Chorus performs new songs at the Unison Festival in Halifax this weekend before sharing them at home on June 14.

The Bridge City Chorus is Saskatoon’s only 2SLGBTQ+ choir.In the past, participants have stayed in touch with members of other choirs after connecting at the festival, she said.

For her first Unison Festival, she wrote a series of new songs that celebrate the Prairies and community. Reduced to eight members after COVID-19 cancellations, the BCC continues to thrive on a shared love for singing.
