The South African Revenue Service is urging taxpayers to use its digital platforms as workers continue strike action.
Sars employees who are part of unions Nehawu and the public servants association have embarked on a strike. They want a total increase in the region of 12 percent but the tax authority says it just cannot do it. eNCA speaks to Sars commissioner, Edward Kieswetter for more. Courtesy

This filing season we’ve had 700,000 taxpayers who’ve filed their returns on our additional platforms. A significant portion of our work is already taking place online and seamlessly.”
