Showtime announces Sarah Michelle Gellar joining 'Dexter' cast as CSI Chief Tanya Martin. The premium streamer made the announcement with a fax machine printing up a photo of SMG.
Emmy winner Sarah Michelle Gellar has been announced as the latest addition to Paramount+’s Dexter prequel cast in the upcoming spinoff, Dexter: Original Sin.
The upcoming show is set to explore the early days of the psychopathic serial killer Dexter Morgan, with Gibson, 29, playing a young version of the killer-turned-forensics expert. The Golden Globe winner, most recently, reprised the character in the miniseries revival Dexter: New Blood. Christian Slater will be taking over the younger version of Harry from James Remar, who played the character in extensive flashbacks throughout the original series.
Dempsey will be playing Captain Aaron Spencer of the Miami Metro Homicide department. He's a friend of Harry Morgan , Dexter's father and a fellow officer in the police department
