Sarah Ferguson thinks The Queen's corgis see her ghost as they 'bark at nothing'
The Duchess of York has claimed the late Queen Elizabeth's dogs - which were bestowed upon her following Her Majesty's passing last year - can see the former monarch in a ghostly form.
Fergie - who recently received an "olive branch" from the Queen Consort as she picks up royal duties - added: "They're with me a lot, and they think I'm very funny." "I used to sit there for hours thinking, 'Oh my gosh, this is somebody's lifetime to have an audience with the Queen, and I'm sitting having a cup of tea,'" she recalled.
Speaking of her brand new literary work - which centres on two female leads, Lady Margaret and Lady Mary - Fergie claimed she was inspired by her own learned ability to balance the tension between lineage and duty. Set to become a grandmother for the third time following the announcement of her daughter Eugenie's second pregnancy, Fergie gushed about being in "Granny heaven" as she commented on the news on Instagram.
