Three police officers from the White River Flying Squad have been arrested while allegedly escorting a vehicle loaded with over 100 bags of dagga on the N4 toll road near Matsulu in Mpumalanga.
Provincial police spokesperson Jabu Ndubane says the officers were on duty and in full uniform when they were arrested. Ndubane says the occupants of the vehicle in which drugs were found were also arrested and charged with“The three police officers are aged between 32 and 49. They were arrested after they were alleged to be escorting a vehicle trafficking dagga along the N4 road near the Matsulu T-junction. The three officers were driving a marked police vehicle in full uniform while on duty, and they were escorting a vehicle carrying 107 bags loaded with dagga.
