New sandwich spot serving giant hot dogs, New York subs stuffed with crisps and its own take on the McDonald’s apple pie opens today
Proving once again Manchester’s sandwich prowess, a new spot boasting huge subs, hot dogs and a gussied up McDonald’s-style apple pie has launched today. The folks behind the bakery and lunch spot Batard have set up their new concept at the Ducie Street Warehouse.
The subs will come with a huge range of fillings, including a signature fried mortadella with dill cream cheese, crisps and buffalo sauce, and a vegan number featuring a mushroom schnitzel in cajun-spiced panko breadcrumbs. READ MORE: I found Manchester's best sandwich down a very dodgy backstreet
