One man was injured in a shooting in San Jose Sunday, police said.

SAN JOSE — San Jose Police are investigating a shooting that left one man injured.

The police department’s official Twitter page announced at nearly 2:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon that its officers were responding to a shooting near the intersection of Felipe Avenue and Olinder Court. One adult male was suffering a “life-threatening injury,” police said at the time, but later noted that the victim was stabilized at a local hospital and was expected to survive.

The announcement came just hours after the department said its officers were investigating a stabbing in the 400 block of Sands Drive in which one adult man was taken to a local hospital for an injury but was expected to survive.
