A man accused of several felonies was arrested after an alleged home invasion in San Jose last week, police say.
A 33-year-old man was arrested Friday on suspicion of several felonies after an alleged home invasion that came at the end of a series of violent crimes in San Jose, according to authorities.
Police were called to a home on the 40 block of Muller Place around 9:30 a.m. March 31 for a report of an armed home invasion, San Jose authorities said in a news release Thursday. After a search of the area, police found and arrested the subject, who carried a tool that looked similar to a firearm, police said.
Investigators later linked the San Jose man to several violent crimes throughout the city from March 18 to March 31. Those alleged crimes included carjacking, robbery, attempted robbery and assault with a deadly weapon. In one particular situation, the suspect allegedly tried to lure a 16-year-old girl into a carjacked vehicle. In another, a victim suffered moderate but non life-threatening injuries, according to SJPD.
