SAN JOSE — A boy was stabbed Monday morning at Gunderson High School by another student, according to authorities.
The stabbing was reported at about 10:12 a.m. at Gunderson, according to San Jose police. A boy suffered from a non-life threatening stab wound. The student police suspect committed the stabbing was taken into custody. The incident is under investigation and school is continuing operations as scheduled, the San Jose Unified School District said in an email to parents. The school didn’t lock down or shelter in place during the investigation.
“The safety of our students and employees is our top priority,” the district said. “Incidents like these are unsettling for students, families, and employees.
