A 34-year-old San Francisco man has been arrested in connection with nine May bank robberies at branches located across the city's Richmond and Sunset districts.
SAN FRANCICSO -- A 34-year-old San Francisco man has been arrested in connection with nine May bank robberies staged at branches located in the city's Richmond and Sunset districts.
In five of the nine incidents the tellers complied. The suspect successfully stole undetermined amounts of cash and then fled the scene. On May 9th at approximately 3:30 p.m., officers responded to the 2000 block of Irving Street for a report of another bank robbery. At approximately 4:00 p.m., officers observed a man on Geary Street that matched the description of the bank robbery suspect.
