Imagine parking in a space for years without issue to only get a parking ticket after the spot was painted while your car was parked in it.

From the images provided in thereport, the curb in question was so faded that one couldn't see that it was ever painted at all. Even worse, this curb has been this way for a very long time, with an image as far back as 2016 showing that the paint was just as faded as the image from 2020, and the day the couple parked in this spot.until the day the SFMTA finally decided it was time to paint it.
