Police were called at 7:37 a.m. Friday to a home on Navy Road, where two unresponsive children were reported.
The parents directed them to the children, girls ages 1 and 5. They were ultimately pronounced dead at the scene.
The San Francisco medical examiner and the police homicide investigators responded to the scene, and the deaths were determined to be homicides. The method of death was not revealed. A 34-year-old woman was identified as a suspect and booked into the San Francisco County Jail on suspicion of homicide.
