Fog settled in over the coastline and into our inland valley communities Saturday morning. For those hoping to see the annular solar eclipse around 9:26 .m., clouds will still be present over the coast with more clearing over the inland valley communities. 70% of the sun will be covered by the moon for a brief period of time. If you plan to watch the eclipse, make sure to have the special glasses!
Surf will be elevated again today along the coast with dangerous rip currents. Wave heights will be around 2-4 feet with some sets near 5 feet. Temperatures will warm across the weekend, but Sunday will be the hottest, with highs around 8-10 degrees above normal. The warmer weather continues to start next week.
