Thousands of runners start the Rock ‘n’ Marathon and Half Marathon near Balboa Park in San Diego on June 2, 2019.This race is back next year on the first weekend of June. Registration is already open, and prices could go up at any point. As of now, the 5k race costs $49, and fees for the Sunday races are $89 for the marathon and $79 for the half-marathon. If you run with a cause — to raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital — registration is free.
