The game was scoreless until the 83rd minute. San Antonio’s Zico Bailey took a shot that bounced off a Switchback defender and into the path of Abu. Abu directed the ball into the back of the net to put San Antonio up 1-0. It was Abu’s first goal as a member of San Antonio FC. San Antonio was without some key contributors. San Antonio FC had five players on the injured list, including Justin Dhillon, PC and Carter Manley. Shannon Gomez is on international duty with the Trinidad & Tobago national team.
Neither team was able to score in the first half. Both teams had five shots in the first half. San Antonio had two on target. Colorado Springs had three shots on target.
