Unemployment rate in San Antonio area kept falling in February; wages near all-time high

“Employment growth held steady or picked up across most service sector industries,” said Christopher Slijk, associate economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, “while goods-producing sectors, disproportionately affected by supply-chain disruptions ... saw more constrained job growth.” At the same time, labor market fluctuations and the so-called “Great Resignation” that began last fall appear to be continuing in Texas.
